Redington Beach, Florida, is located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico of the Pinellas County Coast. Bordered by North Redington Beach to the north, Madeira Beach to the south, the Intracoastal Waterway on the east, and the Gulf of Mexico on the west Redington Beach is primarily a waterfront residential community.
Redington Beach is approximately 1 square mile in size and has 4 town parks, 5 public beach accesses, a causeway with benches for relaxing and fishing along with a community recreation area with basketball courts and a large children’s playground.
Gulf Blvd. is the main drive running north-south through Redington Beach. The Tom Stuart Causeway drawbridge to the south connects Redington Beach to mainland Pinellas County.
Redington Beach is located at 27°48′42″N 82°48′42″W / 27.81167°N 82.81167°W / 27.81167; -82.81167 (27.811669, -82.811546).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 mi² (3.4 km²). 0.4 mi² (0.9 km²) of it is land and 0.9 mi² (2.4 km²) of it (71.54%) is water.
